Trump’s Oman business ties raise questions about foreign policy conflicts

President Donald Trump threatened to bomb Oman if it obstructed efforts involving Iran, while his business partners pursue a luxury golf and real estate development there with government approval.

The project, built by a Saudi development firm on government-provided land, pays Trump through licensing and management arrangements. The source says he earned $1 million from the deal in 2024 and appears to have earned $6.8 million from the Oman project before construction was complete.

The arrangement adds to questions about conflicts of interest involving Trump’s Middle East business dealings and his responsibilities as president and commander-in-chief.
