Report finds little shift in election confidence after Trump campaign
President Donald Trump’s efforts to undermine confidence in election results and expand federal control over elections have produced little measurable change, according to a new report from Bright Line Watch, a group that monitors American democratic practices.
A YouGov poll and a survey of 568 political science experts found no major change in confidence that vote-counting in the fall midterm elections will be conducted fairly since Trump’s primetime address a month ago.
