Eaton County parks receive grants for land and trail improvements

Eaton County will receive $220,200 through Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grants to acquire 50 acres next to an existing park. Potterville will receive $267,600 to extend a trail and add pickleball courts at a local park.

The grants are part of $45 million awarded for 75 park, trail and outdoor recreation projects statewide. Local and matching funds bring the total investment to about $108.9 million.
