Lansing police investigate fatal early-morning stabbing

Lansing police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man early Thursday morning. Officers responding to a suspicious situation around 4 a.m. found the man with a stab wound in the 300 block of E. Michigan Ave. and began life-saving measures before firefighters arrived.

The investigation remains active, and no arrests have been made. Police are asking anyone with information to call 517-483-4600 or Crime Stoppers at 517-483-7867; tips can also be sent through the department’s Facebook Messenger account.
