Eaton County prosecutor wins GOP endorsement for Michigan attorney general

Eaton County Prosecutor Doug Lloyd won the Republican endorsement for Michigan attorney general at the party’s convention in Novi, defeating lawyer Kevin Kijewski of Birmingham.

About 2,100 delegates attended the convention. Republicans also endorsed candidates for secretary of state and 10 additional statewide positions, including nominees for the Michigan Supreme Court and university governing boards.
