New K-9 joins sheriff’s office team serving Delhi Township

A new K-9, Whit, joined the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office team serving Delhi Township. Whit will work with Deputy William Belanger on searches, suspect tracking, and detecting explosives and narcotics.

The township contracts with the sheriff’s office for law enforcement and police protection services. Voters will consider renewals for law enforcement and fire protection and emergency medical services millages on the Nov. 3 ballot.
