Thousands remain without power as mid-Michigan restoration continues

Power was returning across mid-Michigan after severe weather affected about 450,000 customers statewide, according to DTE Energy.

More than 28,000 DTE customers remained without power, including nearly 900 in Ingham County. The utility said all customers should have power restored by the end of Sunday.
