Ingham County woman wins $100,000 annually for life in Michigan Lottery
An Ingham County woman won $100,000 a year for life in the Michigan Lottery’s Millionaire For Life game. The 71‑year‑old matched all five white balls—01, 16, 26, 40 and 44—in the Aug. 20 drawing to secure the second‑tier prize.
She claimed her winnings at Michigan Lottery headquarters and opted for the $100,000 annually for 20 years or life option, rather than a lump‑sum payment of $2.2 million. She plans to use part of the prize for home renovations and save the rest.
According to the Michigan Lottery, this is the second $100,000‑a‑year‑for‑life second‑tier prize won by a player since the Millionaire For Life program launched in February.
