Supreme Court rejects Trump-backed Missouri congressional map

The U.S. Supreme Court rejected a new Missouri congressional map backed by President Donald Trump, leaving the state to use districts passed after the last census for the November general election.

The decision could mean different House districts will apply in the general election than in the August primary, potentially affecting more than 1 million voters. Missouri’s secretary of state directed local election authorities to use the 2022 map after the ruling.
