Firefighters walk through Lansing to support families facing cancer

Michigan firefighters and their families took part in the four-day Walk for the Red, which passed through Lansing on Saturday on its way from Macomb Township to Cascade Township.

Neighbors United is raising money for families of firefighters battling cancer and is supporting 89 firefighters this year. The walk continued past the state Capitol to a 9/11 Memorial, organizers said.
