One Grand Read brings shared book program to Eaton County communities

One Grand Read is inviting residents in Eaton and Ingham counties to read “There’s Always This Year: On Basketball and Ascension” by Hanif Abdurraqib. Participants can get copies through local libraries and bookstores, with free discussions and writing programs offered throughout September.

Abdurraqib is scheduled to appear Sept. 27 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center for a keynote, interview, audience Q&A and book signing. Registration is encouraged for the free event.
