Lansing man bound over for trial in February murder case

Aaron Paul Mousseau, 32, has been bound over for trial in connection with the February killing of Vincent Beeman, who was found dead inside his apartment on Burneyway Drive in Lansing, prosecutors said.

At the time of the homicide, Mousseau was living with Beeman in the same apartment. The bind‑over decision followed a preliminary examination in which 56A District Court Judge Adrianne K. VanLangevelde determined that prosecutors presented sufficient evidence to establish probable cause that Mousseau killed Beeman.

Mousseau is scheduled to be arraigned in 56th Circuit Court on Sept. 24, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. A status conference is scheduled for Oct. 16, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
