Stanton approves framework for tax-payment agreements

The Stanton City Commission approved a framework for payment-in-lieu-of-taxes agreements at its Sept. 8 meeting.

The ordinance passed 4-1, with Commissioner Ray Holloway opposed. Commissioner Eric Rich was absent, and Mayor Bill Ferguson does not vote unless there is a tie.
