Warren residents voice concerns over neighborhood changes

Residents in Warren told Fox News Digital that the city’s growing Muslim population and the conversion of former churches and businesses into Islamic centers have changed their neighborhoods. One resident said five mosques now operate within a seven-mile radius of his home.

Neighbors also raised concerns about noise during prayers, traffic and zoning disputes. Michigan motor vehicle data cited in the report shows Warren recorded 4,086 crashes in 2024, up from 3,607 in 2010, though the figures do not attribute crashes to the city’s changing population.
