Appeals court backs Trump-supported Missouri congressional map

A federal appeals panel ruled Monday that Missouri should use new Republican-drawn congressional districts in the November election, saying reverting to the previous map would violate the US Constitution.

The ruling’s effect was delayed for a week to allow an appeal. The US supreme court has twice blocked the map, and Missouri remains set to use the districts from the 2024 and 2022 elections while the legal fight continues.
