Michigan clocks will fall back one hour on Nov. 1
Daylight saving time will end in Michigan at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, when clocks move back one hour and 2 a.m. becomes 1 a.m. The change returns the state to standard time and repeats one hour of the day.
After the change, daylight will arrive earlier, while darkness will come sooner in the late afternoon. The U.S. House has passed legislation to end daylight saving time permanently, but the bill remains stalled in the Senate.
