MSU police evaluate three additional cases in Arpit Saxena investigation

MSU police and public safety officials are investigating three new reports against former resident physician Arpit Saxena, according to a press release issued on Friday.

Saxena, 39, was taken into custody on Sept. 10 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Georgia, after an investigation revealed he sexually assaulted two patients at the MSU Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Clinic. He was arraigned on Sept. 25 and is being held on a $2 million bond. Saxena will continue to be lodged at the Ingham County Jail pending a bond hearing on Sept. 28.

MSU Police is asking anyone treated by Saxena between July 1, 2024 and April 7, 2025 to reach out through the established tip lines: 844-99-MSUPD (844-996-7873) or [email protected].
