Unadilla Township fire Crews Battle camper blaze

At around 11 a.m. On Thursday, the Livingston County 911 Central Dispatch alerted the Unadilla Township Fire Department to a camper fire. E50 responded and arrived within five minutes, was first on scene, found a fifth wheel camper fully involved that was melting the siding of a nearby House, and stretched a hand line to initiate a fire attack.

Hamburg Township was requested for manpower and water. The quick actions of the first arriving companies kept the house from suffering major damage; the camper was a total loss.
