US-127 construction phase to finish by end of November in Ingham County

The Michigan Department of Transportation expects the current phase of the US‑127 construction project to be finished by the end of November, covering the stretch between I‑69 in Clinton County and Lake Lansing Road in Ingham County.

Assistant Construction Engineer Brendan Ryder noted that the work will include several bridge replacements and that the next phase will run from I‑496 up to Lake Lansing Road, starting in spring and lasting until 2029.

Local commuters, such as Willie Venerable who travels from Lansing to Flint three times a week, anticipate reduced congestion and improved road conditions once the project is complete.
