Doug Lloyd seeks Michigan attorney general with focus on clear, consistent rules
Doug Lloyd, a former prosecutor with 30 years of experience, is running to be Michigan’s next attorney general as the Republican nominee. He has received the Friend of Agriculture endorsement from Michigan Farm Bureau’s AgriPac. Lloyd currently manages 10 attorneys and 15 administrative staff and handles an average of 6,000 cases per year, serving as a public servant committed to protecting both public safety and fairness under the law.
His record includes prosecuting and securing convictions in serious cases such as murder, sexual assault, armed robbery, and large-scale drug trafficking, even prosecuting elected officials and individuals committing ballot theft. According to Michigan Farm Bureau General Counsel Allison Eicher, Lloyd understands the vital role agriculture plays in Michigan’s economy and the challenges farmers face. He has worked with farmers in Eaton County and heard their frustrations over changing regulations, promising clear, consistent rules to help farmers and businesses succeed.
Lloyd, a proud father of two sons and husband to Mina, a retired assistant prosecuting attorney, resides in Delta Township. He says Michigan deserves an Attorney General who can prosecute cases, lead with integrity, and make communities safer. With your support, he will win this race together.
