Michigan surgeon’s license suspended after months of investigation
The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs placed a summary suspension on plastic surgeon Ayoub Sayeg on Sept. 28, 2026, following a complaint that the state had opened more than three months earlier. Sayeg runs the “Your New Looks” plastic surgery center in West Bloomfield, and Local 4 investigators have been working on the case for months.
The complaint details a face and neck lift performed on April 30, 2024, with operative reports that omitted references to fat grafting and injection and contained inconsistencies regarding drains and sutures. The patient returned on Aug. 21, 2024, and additional procedures followed on Nov. 4, 2024, Jan. 6, 2025, and March 25, 2025. A breast augmentation was performed on May 7, 2024, and a bilateral capsulotomy and reimplantation took place on Oct. 15, 2024.
Sayeg’s license was also suspended in Illinois on July 7, 2026, and in Virginia, based on the July order from Illinois. Local 4 investigators reached out to Sayeg’s attorney for comment, but have yet to hear back. The full results of the investigation will be released at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026.
