Trump’s Medicare Part B rebate reaches 20 million enrollees
President Donald Trump announced a one‑time $90 payment for Medicare Part B recipients, covering more than 20 million enrollees and costing roughly $2 billion.
Less than one‑third of all Medicare beneficiaries qualify for the rebate, with payments expected to be distributed this week via direct deposit or paper checks from the Treasury Department.
The initiative, part of the Medicare Improvement Fund created by Congress in 2008, aims to ease healthcare costs amid rising living expenses and to support voters ahead of the November 3 midterms.
