Michigan students unveil winter safety designs for Paint the Plow
Students from schools across Michigan have unveiled colorful artwork for the Michigan Department of Transportation's annual Paint the Plow project, which features designs promoting safe winter driving. This year's theme, "See snow? Go slow!", encourages drivers to reduce speeds and allow snowplows sufficient room to operate safely on state roads.
The painted plow blades will be deployed along state trunklines throughout the winter, serving as both working maintenance equipment and visual reminders for motorists. The initiative aims to raise awareness of snowplow operators and reinforce the state's commitment to reducing traffic fatalities and serious injuries during the winter season.
