Eaton County Parks is hosting its Pumpkin Chuck event at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge on Saturday, November 7. The event runs from 11 a.m. To 4 p.m. And offers residents a way to dispose of leftover Halloween pumpkins.

Visitors who bring their own pumpkins receive a free launch from the catapult. Additional launches cost $2 per pumpkin. The park also features a sledding hill competition where participants roll their pumpkins to see which travels the farthest, with prizes awarded for the longest distance.

Food vendors and family activities are available throughout the day. Library staff will conduct a Listen to Win Treasure Walk, offering stories and prizes. The event is free to attend and takes place at 133 Fitzgerald Park Drive in Grand Ledge.
