Luna points to suspected foreign campaign targeting U.S. policy debates

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., said foreign actors were helping manufacture political divisions in the United States after X said it identified a suspected Chinese bot farm of about 200,000 accounts.

X said roughly 200 accounts posted content that could manipulate debates over American artificial intelligence and energy policy. The accounts claimed data centers were raising household electricity bills and straining the power grid, a policy concern already under debate as electricity demand grows.
