Bobcats surge in first half to defeat Ohio 31-14

Central Michigan University rallied to a 31-0 halftime lead over Ohio, then held on to win 31-14 on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026.

The Bobcats’ offense clicked early, with a 44‑yard touchdown pass from quarterback Nick Poulos and a 70‑yard drive that finished with a touchdown before halftime.

Defensive adjustments in the second half kept Ohio to 25 yards over four drives, while the offense added a 15‑yard run by Jayden Clerveaux and a 20‑yard rush by Nick Woodford. The team finished 3-3 overall and will face Western Michigan on Oct. 17 for the Victory Cannon.
