Michigan man faces 12 felony charges in Virginia child solicitation case

Hunter James Brenner, 28, of Dorr, Michigan, faces 12 felony counts related to alleged online solicitation of a minor, following an investigation that began in Virginia.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia launched the investigation after receiving a tip from a concerned parent about inappropriate messages and content discovered on their child’s phone.

Detectives executed a search warrant at Brenner’s residence and recovered additional potential evidence. Brenner was arrested in Michigan by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office on charges filed by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
