Missing Michigan teen found dead after lake search

A 16-year-old who disappeared underwater at a Michigan lake was found dead after search crews recovered the teen’s body, state police said.

The teen was last seen Wednesday. Boats, dive teams, drones and a helicopter searched around Orangeville Island in the southern part of the lake.

State police said the investigation is ongoing and asked anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about what happened to contact the MSP Wayland Post at (269) 792-2213.
