Michigan State reportedly finalizing deal for new athletic director

Michigan State University is reportedly finalizing a deal to hire Western Michigan athletic director Dan Bartholomae as its next athletic director.

Bartholomae would replace former MSU athletic director J Batt, who left in June to become athletic director at the University of Kentucky.

Western Michigan won a national title in hockey under Bartholomae, and the Broncos are the reigning MAC football champions.
