Two arrested after man allegedly abandoned in northern Michigan swamp
Two men were arrested after a man was allegedly choked and beaten at a home in Roscommon County and abandoned in a swampy area, Michigan State Police said Friday.
Investigators said the suspects, ages 20 and 37, took the man to the area Tuesday morning. He escaped the water, sought help and was treated at a hospital before being released.
The suspects are from Wayland and Midland. The investigation remains ongoing.
