Air Force renames base for late Sen. Lindsey Graham

The U.S. Air Force is renaming Joint Base Charleston in honor of the late South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was expected to speak at the ceremony Monday. Graham served for more than 30 years in the Air Force, Air Force Reserves and Air National Guard as a lawyer before retiring as a colonel.

President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance honored Graham in memorial services after he died suddenly on July 11.
