Branch County gas prices dip but stay above regional neighbors

Gas prices in Branch County, Michigan, have declined slightly to start the work week, though they remain higher than in neighboring counties. The average price per gallon in Branch County stood at $4.54 this morning, which is slightly above the statewide average.

According to AAA Michigan, the statewide average price has fallen by 17 cents per gallon over the past week to $4.49. This represents a 40-cent drop from a month ago.

Prices in nearby St. Joseph and Hillsdale counties are well below the state average, with St. Joseph County averaging $4.26 per gallon and Hillsdale County at $4.29. Across the state line in Indiana, the average price is $3.84 per gallon.
