East Lansing schools chief plans to leave after 14 years
East Lansing Public Schools Superintendent Dori Leyko told the school board Monday that she plans to resign. She said her intended last day is Aug. 13, after 14 years with the district.
Leyko has served as superintendent for 10 years and worked in education for 33 years. She said she is committed to working through the rest of her time with the district.
