Indiana favored over Michigan in Big Ten clash

No. 6 Indiana is favored by seven points to beat Michigan on Saturday in a Big Ten matchup that pits the Hoosiers' recent national championship run against the Wolverines' historic dominance in the series.

Indiana, coached by Curt Cignetti, has won a national title and maintained a 31-game streak of even or positive turnover margins, a record in major college football since 1995. The Hoosiers are expected to win two consecutive games against Michigan for the first time since 1958-59.

Michigan, which has won 42 of the last 45 games against Indiana, will look to respond after a 21-18 victory over Penn State last week. Quarterback Tommy Carr is expected to start for the Wolverines following the benching of Bryce Underwood, while Indiana aims to extend its winning streak after a recent loss to Ohio State.
