Intermittent ramp closures begin on U.S. 127 near Lansing
Intermittent ramp closures began on U.S. 127 in northern Ingham County and southern Clinton County on Thursday, November 5, to facilitate paving operations. The Michigan Department of Transportation announced that the closures will continue until 8 p.m. on Friday, November 6.
Drivers should expect disruptions on several key connections, including Grand River Avenue to northbound U.S. 127, northbound U.S. 127 to Lake Lansing Road, and Lake Lansing Road to northbound U.S. 127. Additionally, ramps connecting northbound U.S. 127 to both eastbound and westbound Interstate 69 are affected by the work.
These closures are part of a multi-year project to revamp the U.S. 127 corridor in the Lansing area. The state highway department is currently rehabilitating the section of U.S. 127 between Interstate 69 and Lake Lansing Road.
