Man Is NOT Equal to G_d. Not Even Trump.

Anything man creates to emulate what G_d created is artificial. Artificial hearts. Artificial sweeteners. Artificial intelligence. To say it is “Super Intelligence” is to say that man has now created something that isn't artificial. Man is EQUAL to G_d. That's the hidden message of Trump. That's how I see it.

I'm HUGE on AI. I use it daily. I've built my own AI systems, trained my own LLM, and built my own agent harness using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). I understand model training, neural networks, inference, and machine reasoning. I'm not afraid of AI. I believe in its potential, and I actively contribute to its development. But my concern isn't technological. It's spiritual.

Scripture has warned mankind about this arrogance for thousands of years. Bereshit (Genesis) 3:5 describes the temptation to become like G_d. Shemot (Exodus) 20:3 commands us to have no other gods before Him. Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 42:8 reminds us that G_d does not surrender His glory to another.

And perhaps most directly, Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 28:2 confronts the ruler of Tyre, who believed himself divine. G_d rebukes his arrogance, reminding him that he is a man, not G_d, despite considering his own mind equal to that of a god. Think about that. Thousands of years ago, scripture warned about a powerful man whose intelligence, wealth, and accomplishments convinced him that he was something greater than human. And yet here we are, watching mankind celebrate its own creations as though we've somehow transcended the Creator.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 44:9-20 condemns the absurdity of idolatry. A craftsman takes material, shapes it with his own hands, and then bows before the very thing he created. Today, we're not carving wooden idols. We're building neural networks, training artificial intelligence, and developing machines capable of processing information beyond human limitations. The technology has changed. The temptation to worship our own creations hasn't.

Shemot (Exodus) 32:1-8 tells the story of the golden calf. People took something they possessed, fashioned it into an object of worship, and attributed divine power to something made by human hands. That's the danger of confusing creation with divinity.

What's even more disturbing is the messiah-like persona Trump attempts to portray, and the cult of personality his most devoted followers have built around him. A man presented as chosen, almost infallible, and somehow ordained to save civilization. His words are defended like scripture. His moral failures are excused. His critics are treated as enemies of something greater than politics. That's not faith. That's idolatry. And scripture has plenty to say about worshipping powerful men.

Tehillim (Psalms) 146:3 explicitly warns against placing our trust in princes or human leaders, because salvation does not come from them. Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 17:5-7 warns against trusting in mankind and making human strength our foundation while turning our hearts away from G_d. It contrasts that behavior with the blessings of those who place their trust in Him. Shemuel Alef (1 Samuel) 8:7-18 describes Israel's demand for a human king. G_d tells Samuel that the people have rejected His kingship, and Samuel warns them about the power a human ruler can exercise over their lives. And Devarim (Deuteronomy) 17:18-20 establishes that even a king is subject to G_d's law. A ruler must study that law, obey it, and never consider himself above his fellow people. Imagine that. Scripture specifically warns rulers not to elevate themselves above those they govern.

There is a difference between following a political leader and worshipping a man. When someone becomes incapable of questioning their leader, when they excuse behavior their own scripture condemns, and when they place loyalty to a politician above their loyalty to G_d, they have crossed that line. And those who claim to speak for G_d while encouraging this worship of man should be called out for what they are: heretics who have confused political power with divine authority.

Mishlei (Proverbs) 16:18 warns that pride precedes destruction and arrogance precedes a fall. Daniyyel (Daniel) 4:30-37 tells us about King Nebuchadnezzar, who boasted about the greatness of Babylon and attributed its accomplishments to his own power and majesty. His arrogance was followed by humiliation, until he acknowledged that his authority was beneath the authority of Heaven. The message is clear. No ruler, regardless of wealth, power, popularity, or accomplishment, is above G_d.

The Tower of Babel, described in Bereshit (Genesis) 11:1-9, wasn't simply a story about building something tall. Mankind sought to build a tower reaching toward the heavens and make a name for itself. It was an expression of human ambition and pride, a warning about what happens when mankind becomes consumed by its own greatness. Sound familiar? We can create increasingly powerful AI. We can build autonomous agents, train models on enormous collections of human knowledge, and develop systems capable of outperforming us in countless tasks. One day, we may even create artificial superintelligence that exceeds human cognitive abilities in nearly every measurable category. But computational intelligence isn't divinity. Processing information isn't creating life. And technological superiority doesn't grant anyone spiritual authority. Devarim (Deuteronomy) 8:17-18 warns against the arrogance of believing that our own strength and abilities alone produced our prosperity. It reminds us not to forget the source of our abilities and accomplishments. Human achievement does not make mankind divine.

I believe in AI. I believe in science. I believe mankind should continue pushing the boundaries of what we can accomplish. But I refuse to confuse the works of man with the works of G_d. And I refuse to confuse a politician with a prophet, a president with a messiah, or political loyalty with religious devotion. A leader who demands unquestioning loyalty is not demonstrating righteousness. Followers who abandon their own moral principles to defend that leader are not demonstrating faith. They are demonstrating precisely the kind of human arrogance and misplaced worship that scripture has warned about for thousands of years. Man is NOT equal to G_d. No algorithm changes that. No technological achievement changes that. No amount of wealth, political power, or public adoration changes that. And Donald Trump certainly doesn't change that.
