Michigan Chamber hosts candidate conversations on State office and Supreme Court

Michigan Chamber members have direct access to Secretary of State candidate Tony Forlini and Attorney General candidate Doug Lloyd through the MI’s Future in Focus series. These free conversations offered a closer look at each candidate’s background, priorities and approach to the office, while giving members the opportunity to ask their own questions directly to the candidates.

Up next, two Michigan Supreme Court candidates will join the event later this month: Monday, Sept. 28 at noon, Hon. Casandra Morse‑Bills and Hon. Michael Warren. The decisions by Michigan’s highest court can reshape the rules employers operate under for years, and recent rulings have underscored just how consequential the Court can be.

With two seats on the Michigan Supreme Court on the ballot this fall, this is an important opportunity to hear directly from Morse‑Bills and Warren about their judicial philosophies and approach to the Court. Members can go beyond campaign headlines and ads and bring their questions to the conversation.
