Armed man arrested after lunging toward Ohio governor candidate
An armed man charged toward Democratic Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton during a Sunday campaign stop at a fair, injuring several people before troopers stopped him, authorities said. Acton was not injured.
Authorities said Patrick Havas, 38, had a taser and two pistols. He was arrested and booked on charges of disorderly conduct and two counts of assault; investigators said the weapons were not brandished.
