Eaton Rapids girls reach first state basketball final

Eaton Rapids defeated Flint Powers Catholic 46-36 in the Class B semifinal at the Breslin Center, reaching the first state championship game in program history. The Greyhounds eliminated three top-10 teams during the tournament, including Olivet in the district final.

Allie Dittmer led Eaton Rapids with 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Bailey Baker scored 13 points after making 11 of 12 free throws. The Greyhounds also outrebounded Flint Powers 38-22 and held its three senior leading scorers to 19 combined points.
