On Thursday, the Grand Ledge Comets defeated the visiting East Lansing Trojans 27-0 in a league game.

The win improved the Comets' season record to 3-1 and set the stage for a Thursday, September 24 matchup against the Holt Rams in a Capital Area – Blue game.

The Trojans, now 1-3, will prepare for a game against Okemos in the same series.
