Lansing shop pairs antiques with a paranormal museum

Voodoo’s World of Oddtiques in Lansing’s REO Town sells antiques and consignment items, including antique medical equipment and religious artifacts. Co-owner Jennifer Harris said the couple has collected unusual items for more than 30 years.

The couple opened the Other Side Paranormal and Mortuary Science Museum behind the shop about three years ago. It features Voodoo traditions, funeral home artifacts and paranormal history, and visitors can bring equipment to test what Harris describes as unexplained phenomena. She said the museum leaves it to visitors to decide whether they experience anything haunted.
