Metro Detroit mobile bartender faces refund claims from nearly 100 brides

Nearly 100 brides say Sip of Eden, a Metro Detroit mobile bartending business, canceled wedding services or failed to refund payments. Brides said they received different explanations for cancellations, including a death, a car accident and emergency surgery.

Bartenders Elite LLC said it acquired Sip of Eden and would honor contracts, including those involving deposits, at no additional charge. The business owner did not respond to requests for comment, according to the report.
