Michigan gaming regulator recognized among industry’s 40 under 40

Jasmine Moreland, the Michigan Gaming Control Board’s director of external affairs and responsible gaming, was named to the Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40 Class of 2027. The national program recognizes gaming industry professionals under 40. The class was announced Sept. 16 and celebrated Sept. 30 in Las Vegas.

Moreland joined the state agency in 2020 and has led its legislative advocacy, tribal relations, responsible gaming work and communications strategy. Her team oversees initiatives including the “Don’t Regret the Bet” campaign and a partnership providing Michigan residents free gambling-blocking software.
