Michigan gas prices rise 28 cents to $4.31 per gallon, oil up 3%

The average price for a gallon of gas in Michigan has spiked, jumping 28 cents in the past week to $4.31 per gallon statewide, in line with the national average.

Branch County reports an average of $4.33 per gallon, Hillsdale County $4.24, and St. Joseph County $4.30, reflecting regional variations across the state.

Oil prices are up nearly 3% from Sunday, reaching just over $103 per barrel, supporting the recent rise in pump prices and benefiting consumers across Michigan.
