North Lansing crash shuts down North Street, roads reopen by 10:30 p.m.
A crash involving at least three vehicles shut down roadways on the north end of Lansing Friday night. Ingham County Dispatch sent out an alert at 9:05 p.m., advising the public that North Street between Turner Street and Grand River Avenue would be shut down due to a crash, encouraging drivers to avoid the area.
6 News arrived on the scene at around 9:15, where multiple police and fire units were on site. At least three vehicles were seen, two heavily damaged and the other with severe front‑end damage. An ambulance with flashing lights left the scene shortly after our arrival.
Roads reopened at around 10:30 p.m., allowing traffic to resume on North Street. The incident was contained quickly, and no injuries were reported at the time of reporting.
