Police identify five victims in Missaukee County shootings

Michigan State Police identified five people killed in the Aug. 14 shootings in Missaukee County. They were Shane McGowan, Amanda Everitt, Eric Thomas, John Schwartz and Heather Schwartz. The suspected shooter, Chad Hickman, also died.

A 13-year-old girl who was shot remains hospitalized in stable condition. Police said Hickman knew everyone involved, but investigators have not publicly identified a motive.
