Utility work closes part of Shiawassee Street through mid-November

A portion of Shiawassee Street in Lansing closed Monday as crews began utility construction, according to the city.

The closure affects the stretch between Capitol Avenue and Grand Avenue and is expected to continue through mid-November. Detours will be provided for drivers.
