Eaton County prosecutor nominated for Michigan attorney general

Eaton County Prosecutor Doug Lloyd was nominated Saturday as the Republican candidate for Michigan attorney general at the party’s statewide convention in Mount Pleasant. Delegates had previously endorsed Lloyd during a spring convention.

Lloyd said his campaign would focus on public safety, protecting rights and enforcing the law if he wins the November election.
