Eaton County voters renew 911 emergency dispatch funding

Eaton County voters approved a renewal of funding for 911 emergency services, passing the measure by a margin of more than 35%.

The proposal is expected to generate approximately $5.5 million in its first year and will support 24-hour 911 call services for police, fire and EMS agencies across the county.

Eaton County Central Dispatch Director Kelley Flynn said the funding will continue for the next five years.
