Michigan stifles Oklahoma in 17-10 upset win

Michigan upset No. 11 Oklahoma 17-10 in Ann Arbor, with defense again leading the way. The Wolverines’ offense stalled for much of the second half, but a short field play from Jyaire Hill and a touchdown by Jordan Marshall gave Michigan its game‑winning margin.

Michigan finished the game with 263 yards on 58 plays. Quarterback Bryce Underwood was 9‑of‑17 passing for 111 yards and rushed 18 times for 87 yards, including a 38‑yard touchdown in the first quarter.

Coach Kyle Whittingham praised Underwood’s performance, noting that the team’s offense “did enough to get the win on Saturday.” Michigan is now 2‑0 and likely to return to the AP Top 25 on Sunday. Oklahoma, meanwhile, will face No. 2 Georgia after a bye week ahead of its rivalry game with No. 4 Texas.
